Ordering & Customization

How far in advance should I place my order?

We recommend placing your order as far in advance as possible to ensure availability, especially for custom or large orders.

Do you have other locations?

Yes! We have locations in Knoxville, TN, and Ridgeland, MS. These locations offer pickup for local orders but cannot ship cookies outside their local area. For any questions specific to these locations, please contact them directly.

Do I need to pre-pay for my order?

Yes, all orders must be paid in full before they can be confirmed and scheduled on our calendar.

Can I order custom cookies?

Absolutely! All Whimsy locations specialize in creating unique, one-of-a-kind custom cookies tailored to your needs. This includes:

  • Sets featured in our Custom Cookies Gallery.
  • Edible images and logo cookies.
  • Cookies for almost any theme you can imagine!
Please note: Only our Whimsy HQ location can ship custom cookie orders nationwide.
How do I place a custom order?

Getting started with a custom order is easy! You can:

  • Fill out our online contact form.
  • Email your request to ORDERS@WHIMSYCOOKIECO.COM. We respond quickly!

What is the minimum number of cookies for a custom order?

Our minimums for custom orders are:

  • Regular Size Cookies: Minimum of 1 dozen (12 cookies), with at least 3 cookies per shape/design.
  • Whimsy Bites (Mini Cookies): Minimum of 6 dozen (72 bites), with at least 12 bites per shape/design.
Order Details:
  • One theme per order.
  • Up to 3 icing colors are included (white counts as a color). Metallics are extra.
  • Each additional color beyond the initial three is $1 extra per color, per dozen cookies.
Can I get mock-ups of my cookies before placing an order?

Due to high order volume, especially during holidays, creating detailed mock-ups beforehand may not always be feasible. However, you can certainly ask! We'll do our best to accommodate requests during non-peak times. Please note that we do charge for mock-ups, with the price varying based on the complexity of your design.

Packaging & Shipping

What are your packaging options?

We offer several ways to package your delicious cookies:

  • Heat Sealed Bags: Individually sealed for freshness (standard for shipped orders).
  • Cello Bags with Ribbon: Individually wrapped in clear cello bags and tied with a ribbon.
  • Gift Boxes: White window boxes holding 2-4 cookies (depending on size).
Remember, only Whimsy HQ ships cookies nationwide.
Do you ship nationwide?

Yes! We ship our yummy cookies all over the United States exclusively from our Whimsy HQ location.

What cookies cannot be shipped?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship cookie cakes due to their fragility.

What is your shipping policy?

Whimsy uses UPS for shipping online orders. We typically do not require a signature for delivery, and packages may be left at your door.

Once cookies leave our shop and are accepted by UPS, Whimsy Cookie Co. is not responsible for:

  • Broken cookies incurred during transit.
  • Issues caused by weather/humidity (e.g., icing color bleeding, butter bleed, edible images detaching).
  • Damage from improper storage after delivery (e.g., left in hot/cold places, outside).
  • Lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation.
  • Delays due to weather conditions or carrier mechanical errors/natural disasters.
  • Delivery issues arising from incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
These issues typically do not prevent the cookies from being enjoyed!

Credit for Shipping Breakage: If cookies arrive broken via shipping, we may offer a store credit for the broken items towards a future order. We require photos of ALL damaged items sent within 1-2 days of delivery to honor this. Credit is on a case-by-case basis and dependent on the damage shown. A crack in the icing (not a broken cookie) will not be considered for credit. Please email photos to ORDERS@WHIMSYCOOKIECO.COM. This credit policy does not apply to color bleeding, icing sticking, or cracked icing.

Corporate Orders & Policies

Do you take corporate orders?

Yes, we love working on corporate orders! Printing your company logo directly onto our cookies using our edible ink printer ("Eddy") is a very popular option.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once an order has been placed, paid for, and booked on our calendar, we are unfortunately unable to cancel it.

Do you give refunds?

Due to the custom-made and perishable nature of our products, all sales are final once confirmed. We cannot offer refunds for personal preferences or dissatisfaction in taste or aesthetics.

While we strive for perfection, we are unable to control how products are transported or stored after leaving our bakery. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for issues outside of our direct control once cookies leave our care, such as:

  • Broken cookies during transit or after pickup.
  • Minor color bleeding or icing sticking to bags (often due to humidity/temperature changes).
  • Icing cracking.
  • Slight variations in icing color compared to photos/expectations.
  • Damage from cookies being left in a hot car, outside after delivery, etc.
  • Issues arising from incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer.
  • Delays or issues caused by weather conditions.
If we make a mistake on your order details, we will do our best to correct the issue. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Allergen Statement

All of our cookies are made in a kitchen that handles dairy, egg, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, soy. Please note that we cannot guarantee that any of our menu items are free of allergens because we share equipment and handle common allergens throughout our bakeries. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the consumer to check all ingredients.
